COVID 19 Policy and Info

Kununurra Resorts is continuing to closely monitor the developments and advice provided around COVID-19.

The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our main priority during this uncertain crisis time.

We are aware of intentions to lift some restrictions initiated by various state governments and would like to be ready to open our facility with all the health and safety measures in place.

Once operations resume, we need to ensure the Health & Safety of our employees, visitors, and fellow travellers come first.

Hygiene Practices

The health and safety of our guests and staff is always our main priority and we’re taking a number of steps to ensure your continued well-being whilst visiting us. Kununurra Resorts are closely following all advice received from Australian medical authorities, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), regarding precautions that are needed to minimize risks concerned with COVID-19.

Kununurra Resorts will maintain a high level of cleaning and hygiene within our facilities and as an extra precaution, we are increasing the cleaning intensity level and frequency within our lodge grounds. Cleaning products, antiseptic will reduce the risk of spreading harmful viruses, algae, molds, and other possibly harmful bacteria and will be used during regular cleaning procedures. We ensure all employees to maintain high hygiene standards at the workplace, including practicing proper hand washing and sanitizing procedures. Hand sanitizer will be available in public areas for use.

Visitors suspected of having COVID-19

If a visitor is unwell or has flu-like symptoms during their stay, they will be isolated from other visitors and staff.  Arrangements will be taken to transport them to the nearest town for medical testing and treatment.

Stay Safe

It is an important thing to avoid catching any virus, so wash your hands and avoid touching your face. It is also advised to use hand sanitizer and cover a cough or sneeze with your arm/elbow.
