Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. GENERAL
    1. The booking terms and conditions outlined below apply to Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort
    2. Management reserves the right to amend or alter prices (excluding confirmed bookings), sites and these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice
    3. Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort may request a valid form of identification be shown at the time of check in to confirm a guest booking
    4. We endeavour to provide the accommodation or site you are requested; however we reserve the right to re-allocate your booking to the same style or similar site if deemed necessary. 
    5. Below 18 years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
    6. All quoted tariffs are based on 2 people per booking, for the specified duration of stay. Any change may result in an increase to the tariff; payable at the time of check-in. 
    7. Tariffs shown are in Australia Dollars and include GST. Tariffs are current at time of booking and are subject to change without notice. A tariff is only confirmed and held firm upon payment of the required deposit. 
    8. Only one promotional/membership offer can be redeemed at any time of the year, excludes Kimberley Moon Festival. 
    9. All guests will be required to complete a guest registration form prior to or upon arrival at Reception. Failure to do this may result in non-acceptance of your reservation
    10. 1.10. An essential condition of your booking is that all guests must abide by all Park Rules, Guidelines and signage and reasonable requests from park staff
    11. 1.11. Check in time is from 11:00am for Caravan Sites and 2:00pm for Cabins; check-out time is 10:00am. A late checkout may be possible, subject to availability. 
    12. 1.12. All linen and bath towels are provided in cabins as well a weekly service for stays more than 6 days. A complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar and bath amenities are provided in you cabin and villa accommodation but please note these are not restocked daily. 
    13. 1.13. Reception Hours: During the season, May to September, Reception is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm daily (extended hours may operate during busy periods) During the off-peak season, October to April, Reception hours will reduce significantly. If arriving outside of our hours, please let us know, and we can arrange a ‘Self Check-in’ Pack for you. 
    14. 1.14. Visitors are welcome while you are present, and their behaviour is your responsibility. Car parking is providing across from Reception for visitors and they must check into Reception prior to entering the park. All visitors must vacate the park prior to 9:00pm. Any visitor that stays overnight will be charged the applicable overnight tariff. 
    15. 1.15. Pets: We have powered and unpowered sites that are pet friendly, so please call and speak with us if you wish to book with your pet. Our Pet Policy & Guidelines must be signed upon check-in at Reception. Pets are not permitted in public areas, including amenities blocks, pool area and our cabins.

    16. 1.16. Children must always be supervised including; in the pool, amenities blocks, barbecue areas and playground areas.
    17. 1.17. We have a designated storage area where you can storage your car/van/motorhome/trailer, charges apply. Please note this is not a lockable area. Whilst care is taken, the storage area is provided at guests own risk. 
    18. 1.18. When booking online credit card fees apply at 1.5%
    19. 1.19. Credit Card Security: All bookings require a credit card for security. Your credit card number will be held for the duration of your bookings and up until 14 days after your departure. Changes can be made to this as requested. Damage or loss incurred from your cabin or site may also be charged to this card, including, but not limited to, loss if items from your cabins, loss of keys. Should you not be able to provide a valid credit card, a $300 cash bond and a copy of your photo ID is required for all bookings
    20. 1.20. Kununurra Resorts Pty Ltd will not be liable to guest in case of death, sickness or any other injury to any guests or for any other loss of damage suffered by the guest whether personal of consequential or otherwise. Kununurra Resort Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising upon directly or indirectly abandonment of guest(s) personal effects, other goods, vehicles, trailers or caravans of guest. Violent and Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Person/s will be told to vacate the premises if this occurs. 
  1. MINIMUM STAYS / DISCOUNTS
    1. Minimum length of stay applies during the Kimberley Moon Festival. This applies to Cabins and Powered Sites only.
    2. Minimum 2 day stay applies when using the TAWK Membership. 
  1. DISCOUNTS ONLINE 
    1. When booking online with the TAWK Membership, please put the word TAWK into the Promotional/group Code section. 
    2. The booking must be for 2 nights for the discount to be applied
    3. The TAWK discount only applies to Powered Sites
    4. Your TAWK Membership must be shown on arrival otherwise the booking will revert to standard prices
  1. PAYMENTS / DEPOSITS
    1. A deposit is required to secure each booking. Bookings will not be guaranteed or confirmed without a full deposit
    2. Peak (High Season Deposit and Payment Terms)
      1. A deposit of the first night’s tariff is due at the time of the booking
      2. The balance of the booking will be payable 14 days prior to arrival
    3. Off Peak (Low Season Deposit and Payment Terms)
      1. A deposit of the first night’s tariff at the time of booking and balance payable on arrival
  1. CANCELLATIONS / AMENDMENTS, REFUNDS & CREDITS
    1. We will do our best to assist you should your holiday plans change, although cannot guarantee that changes can be made nor that a refund is available. Please note that bookings in Peak periods, or for certain accommodation types cannot be changed; however, in some instances, changes may be permitted. If you wish to change any details of your bookings, please contact the Park directly. 
    2. The following applies to bookings made through Ivanhoe Village website or direct with the Park. If bookings have been made via a third party, travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly
      1. Bookings cancelled 7 days or more prior to the arrival date will be refunded less $30.00 cancellation fee
      2. Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival, the first night deposit will be retained. Bookings can be moved, however due to availability and prices may change depending on the new booking period.
      3. If you do not notify the park your booking will be cancelled, and deposit forfeited
    3. No refunds or guest credits are given for early departures or cancellations once arrived this also includes vacating your sites due to weather conditions or any other reason. 
    4. Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort reserves the right to refuse or decline your booking at any time with a valid reason. 
  1. COVID-19 BOOKING POLICY
    1. 6.1.To reassure our guests with booking in these uncertain times, Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort offers two options:
      1. If you need to change your booking because of COVID-19 restrictions, you can do so up to 48 hours prior to you arrival. 
      2. If you need to cancel your booking within 7 days prior to your arrival, your deposit amount will be put into credit to use within 18 months should any of the following criteria impact your stay:
        1. Yourself or a family member become sick with COVID-19
        2. You are forced into self-isolation
        3. You are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test
        4. A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued, and you are no longer able to travel
      3. To utilise this policy a guest must, when requested, provide proof that COVID-19 has impacted as listed above. Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the COVID-19 Booking Policy will need to comply with the parks usual terms and conditions. 
      4. This policy only applied to bookings made on the Ivanhoe Village website or directly with the park

BOOKINGS MADE FROM 1st NOVEMBER 2021 ONWARDS 

      1. Guests shall comply with all Government (Federal and State) COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for entry into Western Australia. Where guests do not meet a vaccination or testing requirement:
        1. Prior to departure from the customer’s home location, the customer will forfeit any and all monies paid
        2. Guests will be asked to show their vaccination documentation either prior or upon arrival to the premises, if not supplied Ivanhoe Village reserves the right to refuse entry and the standard cancellation policies apply.

COVID 19 Policy and Info

Kununurra Resorts is continuing to closely monitor the developments and advice provided around COVID-19.

The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our main priority during this uncertain crisis time.

We are aware of intentions to lift some restrictions initiated by various state governments and would like to be ready to open our facility with all the health and safety measures in place.

Once operations resume, we need to ensure the Health & Safety of our employees, visitors, and fellow travellers come first.

Hygiene Practices

The health and safety of our guests and staff is always our main priority and we’re taking a number of steps to ensure your continued well-being whilst visiting us. Kununurra Resorts are closely following all advice received from Australian medical authorities, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), regarding precautions that are needed to minimize risks concerned with COVID-19.

Kununurra Resorts will maintain a high level of cleaning and hygiene within our facilities and as an extra precaution, we are increasing the cleaning intensity level and frequency within our lodge grounds. Cleaning products, antiseptic will reduce the risk of spreading harmful viruses, algae, molds, and other possibly harmful bacteria and will be used during regular cleaning procedures. We ensure all employees to maintain high hygiene standards at the workplace, including practicing proper hand washing and sanitizing procedures. Hand sanitizer will be available in public areas for use.

Visitors suspected of having COVID-19

If a visitor is unwell or has flu-like symptoms during their stay, they will be isolated from other visitors and staff.  Arrangements will be taken to transport them to the nearest town for medical testing and treatment.

Stay Safe

It is an important thing to avoid catching any virus, so wash your hands and avoid touching your face. It is also advised to use hand sanitizer and cover a cough or sneeze with your arm/elbow.
