Comfortable Accommodation in the Kimberley

Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort provides a range of accommodation from camping, standard and deluxe cabins. Our customers are our greatest advertisement. Once you’ve experienced the Ivanhoe Village Caravan Resort lifestyle we’re sure you’ll be back to see us again, just like our other regulars.

Our aim is to ensure your stay here is so comfortable that you’ll never want to leave, and so memorable you can’t wait to return.

Kununurra is a picturesque landscape of stark contrast – tropical vegetation meeting red rock gorges, and deep blue waterways against the rusty pindan soil.

The Ivanhoe Caravan Park in Kununurra the best place I’ve ever stayed very friendly service and during our isolation Sal the manager collected our shopping as we needed for free what more could you ask for excellent service and great facilities. well done guys

100% stay here if you are travelling this way. Pet friendly, manager that smiles all day & is super helpful. Our experience in summary;
Had to self isolate on way home from NT. Sally collected coles orders for us, realised I was out of books so helped me get more, knew we didn’t have AC & as you can’t use the pool she gave us a blow up pool to put on our site to keep cool during the 38degree days – honestly a game changer!
Sally is an excellent manager. The park is super pet friendly & our dogs were very happy.
If we didn’t have to get going on a deadline we would have stayed on after ISO and expired the area. Just means we will have to come back!
Thanks Sally

What a great caravan park with an awesome manager. Sally was so helpful and went well out of her way to help us and ensure we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful caravan park. We were trying to get back to Perth from the northern territory to see our sick and elderly mother. We had to self isolate for 14 days after we crossed into WA and as we live on a very tight budget we cannot afford caravan parks and have rarely stayed in one during the 4.5 years we had been on the road. On this occasion we had no choice due to the hard border because of Covid-19. When we explained this to Sally she was so nice, understanding and helpful. As we were not going to be using any of their facilities, she gave us a great discount for the 15 nights and she even lent us her own personal portable freezer so we could order a big tub of ice cream for comfort food. A true luxury for us. She even went to Coles to pick up our order for us with no charge for her time and trouble. We were told the other caravan parks, who were at least $10 a night more expensive, were charging $10 delivery for this service, which is certainly fair enough and you couldn’t complain about, but not Sally. Just yet another example of how nice Sally is. Not sure how much this lady gets paid to manage this caravan park but we witnessed how hard she works, every day and what a great job she does and we are sure she is worth more, if not her weight in gold. Love Kununurra and really love this caravan park. Great pool with nice drive through sites, plenty of room, green lawn and endless supply of beautiful water. Will be back.

Isolation We had to go into Isolation in our Caravan. We had an Ensuite Site . Two weeks of Isolation is not easy, Thanks to the Manager Sally we survived. She is the best Caravan Manager we have met in 6 years of travel. She collected our Click and Collect , went into town and got our Mail. She even brought Inflatable pools for other people who were in isolation. After a huge storm, she was out in the rain making sure everyone was alright. Then she went and cleared all the fallen trees.?????

Quiet, Friendly and Accommodating Coming in to WA from Queensland knowing I had to do a 2 week Quarantine after 4 days of driving I was pleasantly surprised by Ivanhoe Village, greeted by the lovely park manager Sally, she was so accommodating and helpful, anything I needed she was one call away and just went above and beyond what id expect from a manager. My room was spacious, with all the facilities I needed. The park itself is quiet, well kept and safe. I will happily stay here again on my way back. I Definitely recommend Ivanhoe Village whether for a 1 night stay or a holiday to visit the beautiful Kimberleys great value for money!.

Accomodating We came to stay for 1 night, stayed 13. Sally the Manager is doing a fabulous job getting the park to a high standard ready for the season. We arrived and they were actually closed for off season. Sally welcomed us in, the cyclone came through and she moved us to a more safe spot without overhead trees. The people there were all very friendly. We had a very relaxing time. And very dog friendly.

Nice park cheap and you can wash your car everyday if you want The park is close to the shopping area and a reasonable ba sse to visit the close by attractions. Ideal base for day trip to Wyndham. No water shortage so wash your car and van. Cheaper than discovery and big4 parks. Only drawback is no wifi so use a telstra data sim

Friendly and cheap This was one of the cheapest camps in town. Loved the local produce that was being sold via an honesty box too. We went canoeing and it was only $5 per night to store the camper trailer. I put our food in the fridge and it was still there 3 days later. Not alot of grass by there has been no rain for 3 years.

Nice place to settle for a few days We had a powered ensuite site staying in a camper. Site was nice and lawned, so not trudging through dirt or mud. The kids play area was nice to have and the camp kitchen was great. Probably a little surprised with their hours ..... office closed at 5pm which is fairly early for a caravan park and pool closed at 6pm (apparently due to sun-down times).

Large, comfortable room with own personal boab! We stayed a few days here, using it as a base for exploring the area (could have done with more time!). The cabin was roomy, we had a good sized boab close to the cabin and even had a resident dragon to greet us. The bathroom and shower were a good size. We could have done with saucepans to use on the stove top (I think they may be available on request). The staff were very friendly and full of information and ideas. The park is in a good location, close to the town and facilities and the grounds are very pleasant. Pool, BBQ and laundry etc., were all within easy reach of our cabin and most others, well designed.

Great Park Very friendly and helpful staff. Park has its own tour desk. Shaded and tropical feel. Sites well shaded. Some have concrete slabs, some are on grass. Amenities a bit dated but kept clean. Yes, there are calcium deposits but you should expect this is this part of the world. Dog friendly as well!

Excellent hosts excellent pricing and very pleasant surroundings This is situated about 1km from the nearest shops but is peaceful, green, clean and very friendly management and staff. Would highly reccommend. At this time on offer ..pay for three stay for four nights available ... which makes it very budget friendly. In our opinion the best in to wn. Tours collect guests from this park.
